The Essentials
The Essentials is a musical ensemble comprised of ten highly talented and experienced musicians, each with a personal or professional attachment to the University of Oregon School of Music in Eugene, Oregon. In addition to their original lyrics, The Essentials cover the songs of artists such as Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind and Fire, and Chicago. The Essentials combine a mixture of tight rhythm, heavy brass and soulful vocals to create their signature, sensuous, musical melodies. |

The Cheeseburgers
The Cheeseburgers, named after the famed Jimmy Buffet song “Cheeseburger in Paradise”, sing about the good, and sometimes wild, life – about beaches, bars, boats and bad behavior. With their unique spin on classic rock and roll and musical covers of the muse, Jimmy Buffet, The Cheeseburgers are committed to bringing to the good life to their listeners through song, because “it’s the attitude, not the latitude, that makes the party fun.” |
